Absolutely NOT! In fact, our mission is quite the
opposite: We are here to AID Local Law Enforcement and
Government Agencies. We respond to help these agencies
react to emergencies and disasters in the most effective
and efficient ways possible. We use the Incident Command System
to make our skills and training available wherever needed
to help them help others..

"How do I become a member of Ohio Defense Force"
Typically, just contact us through this website with your
USPS mailing address and we will send to you a
packet with additional information, enlistment forms,
maps and dates of our next training.

"Is there anyone who CAN'T become a member?"
-Individuals who subscribe to certain ideologies (Aryan Nation, Neo-Nazis, KKK, and
other 'subversive' groups) do not reflect the standards and mission of Ohio Defense Force
-Individuals who have a felony conviction.
-We DO try to utilize anyone with disabilities who wish to
serve their community - we try to work with these individuals
so that they, too, can contribute!
